- Riya Mavi was born on 15 November 1997 (age 23 years in 2020). Her father was in BSF when Riya was 8 years old, because of his father’s posting, she had to shift to Hisar, Haryana.
- So she did her schooling from Mother Teresa Public School, Hisar. After living here for a few years, her father’s posting was in Delhi, so her family had to shift to Delhi. Riya completed her higher education from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Delhi.
- She was a medical batch student, so her father wanted her daughter to become a doctor. That is why he was asked to do preparations for MBBS but her destiny wanted something else.
- Later she has done a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from NRAI School of Mass Communication in Delhi. At that time she used to give tuition to children for her pocket money.
- Her friends used to tell her that she has a good physique, so she should try her luck in modeling. Thus, she decided to come into an acting field. In the beginning, she started shoots, where her experience was very good.
- In 2017, she joined Team Amit Bhadana from this year. Amit Bhadana is one of the top YouTubers in India with 22.2M subscribers.
- In 2018, she made her appearance in the Punjabi music video, ‘Mulakat‘ by the singer Maanick Vig.
- In 2019, she was starred in an inspiring Hindi short film, Neele Gagan Ke Tale. She worked with Amit for almost two years and this channel brought her so much fame and stardom.

Why Riya Mavi Left Team Amit Bhadana?
Respect – She was not getting much respect from this team, she was not included in any of the team’s events and meetups. She agreed that she got fame due to Team Amit Bhadana but she did not want to work under anyone’s pressure.
Individual Growth – Riya has worked with Amit for almost 1.5 years without any payment. All the expenses such as a dress, transportation, makeup for the video, are managed by her.
Financial Growth – Despite her job and a busy schedule, she used to go for shoots and sometimes it took 4-5 days to complete the shoot, but she never complained to anyone. After working for about 1.5 years, she finally gets her first payment of Rs 5000 per month. Personally, working for India’s top channel and paying so less, feels bad for her. No doubt, money never matters but money plays an important role in today’s life.
